Abstract
► ar-Turmerone is the major component of Curcuma longa. ► We firstly found the anti-neuroinflammatory property of ar-turmerone in microglia. ► ar-Turmerone inhibits neuroinflammatory molecules via reduced NF-κB, JNK and p38. ► ar-Turmerone exerts anti-inflammatory effect via PKA and HO-1 signaling pathways.
