Abstract
⺠Staurosporine decreases AChE enzymatic activity and protein levels of tailed AChE. ⺠Staurosporine increases protein levels of readthrough AChE. ⺠Staurosporine decreases ChAT levels and activity and HACU. ⺠These effects are linked to the impact of staurosporine on phosphorylation. ⺠Initial cellular adaption is followed by neurotoxicity and cell death.
