Abstract
⺠Effects of n-acetylcysteine (NAC) and deferoxamine (DFX) in stressed rats. ⺠NAC alone or in combination with DFX reversed anhedonia in stressed rats. ⺠NAC and DFX reduced oxidative damage in the brain of stressed rats. ⺠NAC and DFX increased antioxidants enzymes in the brain of stressed rats. ⺠NAC and DFX presented synergistic effects in oxidative stress parameters and behavior.
