Abstract
⺠CCL28 is widely distributed in the mouse brain. ⺠In the hippocampus, CCL28 is localized in pyramidale neurons, granule cells and some interneurons. ⺠During and after status epilepticus, CCL28 is down-regulated in interneurons in the hippocampus. ⺠CCL28 is involved in the loss of hippocampal interneurons, and disinhibition of pyramidal neurons.
