Abstract
⺠Hypoxia induces neuronal cell death through various mechanisms. ⺠The PI3K and ERK pathways are important for neuronal survival. ⺠Cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker. ⺠Cilnidipine has neuroprotective effects against hypoxia. ⺠The PI3K and ERK pathways play important role in its neuroprotective effects.
