Abstract
⺠Nip shows protective effect against oxidative stress in RGC-5 cells. ⺠Nip induces HO-1 expression mediated by NO signaling. ⺠Nip induced NO/S-nitrosylation dependent-translocation of Nrf2 to nucleus. ⺠Nip stimulates Keap1 S-nitrosylation and Nrf2 binding to E1 enhancer. ⺠Nip prevents RGCs death and 4HNE accumulation via HO-1 induction after nerve injury.
