Abstract
⺠PEBT improves acquisition, consolidation and retrieval on inhibitory avoidance task. ⺠No differences in the locomotor activity were observed in the open-field test. ⺠PEBT inhibits glutamate uptake by cerebral cortex and hippocampal slices of mice. ⺠The improvement of memory by PEBT seems to interact with the glutamatergic system.
