Abstract
⺠The plasma membrane glycine transporter is phosphorylated in response to PKCβ activation. ⺠PKCα/β are responsible for regulation of glycine transport by GlyT1. ⺠GlyT1 phosphorylation is transient and follows a bell shape-like behavior. ⺠Transporter phosphorylation is independent of ubiquitination.
