Abstract
⺠The present study elucidates the role of Aβ in causing MRI changes in rabbit brain. ⺠The study is to develop Aβ treated aged rabbit as AD model for biomarker discovery. ⺠Reduction in thickness of frontal and temporal lobe, hippocampus, and midbrain is seen. ⺠An increase in the lateral ventricle volume in rabbit brain is seen as in AD brain. ⺠The changes seen in rabbit and AD brain are similar for brain regions as seen in AD.
