Abstract
⺠We found that chronic dexamethasone prolonged the water maze performance latency time. ⺠Pretreatment with quercetin, rutin or okra extract shortened the latencies. ⺠Pretreated these compounds restored hippocampal neurogenesis. ⺠Pretreatment with these compounds prevented the reduction of NMDA receptor expression.
