Abstract
⺠We show the noradrenaline, serotonin and dopamine transporters in the brain of NET-KO mice. ⺠Up-regulation of DAT and SERT in most of brain regions of the NET-KO mice, as compared to WT mice. ⺠Lack of differences at the level of mRNA encoding SERT and DAT between NET-KO and WT mice. ⺠Results point to important adaptive changes induced by life-long knock-out of NET.
