Abstract
► Corilagin attenuated tert-butyl hydroperoxide-induced oxidative injury in cultured N9 murine microglia cells. ► Corilagin inhibited tert-butyl hydroperoxide-induced apoptosis in cultured N9 murine microglia cells. ► Corilagin improved the activity of superoxide dismutase and total antioxidant capacity. ► Corilagin decreased intracellular reactive oxygen species and restored mitochondrial membrane potential. ► Corilagin upregulated Bcl-2 expression and downregulated the Bax/Bcl-2 ratio.
