Abstract
⺠Dopamine heterooligomer receptor activation promotes PLC activation. ⺠PLC activation causes intracellular calcium rise and mitochondrial membrane depolarization. ⺠Mitochondrial dysfunction causes cytochrome C release and caspases 3, 7 activation and cell death. ⺠Intracellular calcium rise inhibits ERK and AKT signaling and neuronal dendrite extensions.
