Abstract
⺠This study suggests a hybrid model for evaluating the efficiency of character input systems. ⺠The model is based on the Hick-Hyman law, which suits the features of Korean characters. ⺠This hybrid model is the most appropriate model for predicting users' performance based on their level of experience. ⺠This hybrid model can evaluate users' texting behavior appropriately in the case of hand-held input devices.
