Abstract
Relevance to industry: The extended vigilance is a new and important issue in human performance problems in industry, particularly in such areas as air-traffic control, industrial inspection and power plant monitor. The measuring model of vigilance could be applied to develop an alarm for promoting supervisory performance of human and human-machine detectors.
