Abstract
⺠Advanced models may be unsuitable for economic evaluations in countries with few data. ⺠We compared advanced and simple models of rotavirus vaccination in Turkey. ⺠Both models produced similar results for simple economic questions using similar data. ⺠Simple models can produce meaningful economic analyses in countries with few data. ⺠Where more data are available both models should be used as part of validation.
