Abstract
⺠Indian vaccine manufacturing base is growing. ⺠New initiatives in R&D financing and institutional framework are in place. ⺠National regulatory authority needs to be in sync with this growth and global regulatory framework. ⺠Work-force for supporting decision making and implementation in the country needs to be improved.
