Abstract
⺠Middle income countries (MICs) are characterized by diversity in wealth, size, and capacities. ⺠MICs are now the home of the greatest proportion of the world's poor. ⺠Many MICs are not sustainably introducing new vaccines in a timely manner. ⺠A global coordinated partner's policy and intervention strategy is absolutely needed. ⺠We review the situation and challenges and suggest options to meet the MIC needs.
