Projections of costs, financing, and additional resource requirements for low- and lower middle-income country immunization programs over the decade, 2011-2020

► We projected immunization costs and finances across 94 LICs and LMICs country immunization programs, 2011-2020. ► Expected total costs are $58 billion (bn), 85% for routine and 15% for SIAs. ► Vaccines and injection supplies account for 46% of costs, remainder is for delivery. ► Expected global financing for immunization is $34 bn, 65% from developing countries. ► Cumulative funding gaps of $23 bn, around 40% is for vaccines still in development.
