Abstract
⺠A simple strategy to formulate DC targeted PLGA nanoparticles (NPs) is reported. ⺠Ovalbumin-loaded biotinylated NPs were formulated using biotin-PEG-PLGA polymer. ⺠A recombinant bifunctional fusion protein (bfFp) is used as a DC targeting ligand. ⺠BfFp with OVA loaded NPs yields a versatile two-component antigen delivery system. ⺠DC targeted formulations along with αCD40 significantly enhance immune responses.
