Abstract
► Maternally derived antibody against EG95 can protect the progeny of vaccinated bovines against hydatid disease. ► Young bovines can seroconvert to EG95 vaccination in the presence of maternally derived specific antibody. ► Best immunological response to EG95 is seen in animals vaccinated at 4 and 5 months of age.
