Abstract
⺠We evaluated elimination of rubella and congenital rubella syndrome in Australia. ⺠Criteria included serosurveys, notifications and vaccine coverage 1993-2010. ⺠All available data support endemic rubella elimination since 2004. ⺠Reducing CRS cases to zero requires program targeting overseas-born women.
