Abstract
⺠Universal childhood 7vPCV commenced in South Australia in 2005. ⺠Large direct benefits of this program have been observed for children aged <2 years. ⺠At the same time there is some evidence for serotype replacement IPD in this age group. ⺠There is also good evidence for indirect benefits to adults aged â¥65 years. ⺠Serotype replacement, however, has substantially eroded the benefits in this age group.
