Abstract
⺠We demonstrate the immune enhancement of a tailored N. caninum vaccine in mice. ⺠Vaccine antigen was selected based on its capacity to activate dendritic cells. ⺠Vaccines with Providean-AVEC® adjuvant limited N. caninum infection. ⺠A tenth of the antigen payload was needed compared to other aqueous adjuvants. ⺠Protective responses against N. caninum entailed systemic IgG2a and IFN-γ.
