Abstract
⺠Safety and immunogenicity of Vero cell-derived inactivated JE vaccine was examined. ⺠Virus protein was given in two doses followed by a booster dose after 6-12 months. ⺠The three-dose regimen showed a good safety and immunogenicity profile. ⺠Seroconversion rates at a dose of 1.25 μg, 2.5 μg and 5 μg were 100.0% after three doses. ⺠Geometric mean titers were high and showed a very clear dose-response relationship.
