Abstract
⺠Diverse subcellular fractions from Bifidobacterium bifidum LMG13195 were able to maturate DCs. ⺠CD4+ lymphocytes stimulated with DCs previously exposed to the MV fraction induce a suppressor cytokine balance. ⺠DCs exposed to B. bifidum LMG13195 induce functional Treg cells. ⺠Regulatory effects of B. bifidum LMG13195 could be achieved by its membrane vesicles. ⺠Membrane vesicles from B. bifidum LMG13195 are potential adjuvants for SIT vaccines.
