Abstract
⺠A new process for Vi purification using a Citrobacter isolate as source. ⺠Vi conjugation to CRM197 as carrier protein optimized for scale-up. ⺠The entire process results robust, efficient and affordable. ⺠Process already used for GMP production of ViCRM197 currently in clinical trials. ⺠Analytical methods developed to fully characterize the glycoconjugate vaccine.
