Abstract
⺠Current practice is to avoid live, attenuated vaccines in HIV infection. ⺠Three live, attenuated oral vaccines were given to Zambian adults. ⺠We found no evidence of adverse events related to HIV infection. ⺠The recommendation to avoid live oral vaccines may need to be re-examined.
