Abstract
⺠We present efficacy and safety data from an inactivated vaccine against Salmonid alphavirus. ⺠The vaccine provides almost complete protection against infection in intraperitoneal and cohabitant challenge models. ⺠Significant protection is found in a field trial. ⺠The antigen can be included in polyvalent vaccines. ⺠The vaccine has an attractive safety profile.
