Abstract
⺠Myxomavirus (MYXV) is efficient at priming antibody responses in ruminants. ⺠MYXV potential for vaccination in sheep was confirmed against bluetongue challenge. ⺠High expression of antigen by MYXV is critical for efficient immunisation in sheep.
