Abstract
⺠This novel study quantifies the effect of DNA topology on polyplex uptake in DCs. ⺠Polyplex uptake was monitored by microscopy and gene expression assays. ⺠Complexes containing supercoiled DNA associated most efficiently with DC nuclei. ⺠Gene expression showed quantitative dependence on DNA topology. ⺠DC phenotype was independent of DNA topology.
