Abstract
⺠We determined the seroprevalence of poliovirus antibodies of children in Zaria. ⺠Seropositivity to all polio serotypes was 55.3%. ⺠Seropositivity to P1P2P3 polioserotypes was 86.4%, 76.1% and 76.3%. ⺠Polio antibodies seropositivity was significantly associated with socioeconomic status. ⺠Immunisation status was the single most important determinant of seropositivity.
