Abstract
⺠Cost-effectiveness of introducing rotavirus vaccine modeled using dynamic epidemiological model. ⺠Taking into account herd protection increases probability that vaccine is cost-effective. ⺠Threshold analysis determines the probability of cost-effectiveness as a function of vaccine price. ⺠Vaccine can be cost-effective under a range of plausible vaccine prices for a range of scenarios. ⺠Quick payback of any cost outlay by reduction in healthcare costs.
