Abstract
⺠Development of autologous clotted plasma-based beads as an antigen delivery system. ⺠Plasma bead entrapped Candida cytosolic proteins evoke specific immune response in the model animals. ⺠Liposomized Candida antigens further entrapped in the plasma beads elicit both humoral as well as cell mediated immunity. ⺠The antigen entrapped in the novel vehicle imparts remarkable prophylaxis against virulent C. albicans infection in Balb/c mice.
