Pandemic whole-virion, Vero-cell-derived, adjuvant-free influenza A H1N1 vaccine in patients with solid tumors and hematologic malignancies receiving concurrent anticancer treatment: Immunogenicity, tolerability, and acceptability during the pandemic situ

► We investigate an adjuvant-free H1N1 vaccine during the pandemic situation. ► Focusing on patients with cancer and concurrent cancer therapy. ► Our results demonstrate a surprisingly low uptake of the well-tolerated vaccine. ► The immune response in patients with solid tumors was only slightly reduced. ► The lowest immune response was in patients with hematological malignancies.
