Abstract
⺠In this study, we immunized mice with the bacterial molecules SADH(E) and SADH(S). ⺠These molecules carry a sequence similar to the 6H4 anti-prion epitope. ⺠The immunization elicited anti-prion Abs and attenuated prion disease in mice. ⺠Antigenic mimicry-based prion vaccines might be a new type of prion vaccine.
