Abstract
⺠Mice immunized with Ss-IR antigen develop resistance to Strongyloides stercoralis. ⺠Ss-IR antibodies were localized to the parasite surface and glandular esophagus. ⺠Serum collected from immunized mice passively transferred immunity. ⺠Ss-IR may be suitable as a vaccine against human strongyloidiasis.
