Abstract
⺠Natural products (NPs) are potential source of immune activating/repressing compounds. ⺠This review briefly summarizes the role of pattern recognition receptors (PRR) in modulating immunity. ⺠It discusses NPs as source of compounds that modulate immunity via PRRs. ⺠It proposes a new conceptual approach to identify potential vaccine adjuvants within collections of NPs.
