Abstract
⺠We developed in vitro assay to predict in vivo toxicity of adjuvants. ⺠Pro-inflammatory cytokines were secreted by MM6 cells in presence of TLR agonists but not adjuvants. ⺠TLR agonists induced pro-inflammatory cytokines in vitro and febrile responses in rabbits. ⺠TLR agonists induced fever in rabbits was preceded by increased Prostaglandin E2 in plasma.
