Abstract
⺠We demonstrate a system for skin vaccination that does not result in detectable tissue damage. ⺠Passive administration of antigen results in weak immunity in the absence of potent adjuvants. ⺠High level immunity in response to cutaneous antigen requires adequate induction of the innate response.
