Abstract
⺠A novel cell platform is proposed for poliovirus and consequently IPV production. ⺠The cell-line is susceptible to all three polio virus serotypes. ⺠Higher yields in titers and D-antigen are attained compared to Vero cells. ⺠Yields can be upscaled readily from 20 ml to 2 L.
