Abstract
⺠Residual chlamydia screening samples from women <25 years have been tested for HPV. ⺠Pre immunisation, 18% of 16-24 years old women screened for chlamydia had HPV 16/18 infection. ⺠35% of 16-24 years old women screened for chlamydia had high-risk HPV: multiple infections were common. ⺠HPV prevalence was associated with age during teen years and with sexual behaviour. ⺠The early impact of HPV immunisation will be measured against these baseline data.
