Abstract
⺠Protective responses to a DNA vaccine were compared after 2 delivery methods. ⺠Brugia malayi abundant larval transcript-2 DNA was used as the vaccine candidate. ⺠Gene gun delivery of BmALT-2 DNA vaccine was optimized in this study. ⺠Findings show that gene gun delivery of BmALT-2 DNA elicits significant protection. ⺠Gene gun approach required only 20 fold less DNA compared to intradermal approach.
