Abstract
⺠The present study cloned the gene encoding Ascaris suum enolase (As-enol-1). ⺠As-enol-1 was highly conserved between different nematodes. ⺠pVAX-Enol induced a high level of humoral and cellular responses against A. suum. ⺠pVAX-Enol induced a 61.4% reduction in larvae recovery compared with blank control. ⺠A. suum enolase is a potential vaccine candidate against A. suum infection.
