Abstract
⺠Vaccine efficacy for LPAI in chickens is difficult to experimentally determine. ⺠We examined production of acute phase mediators as a marker of vaccine efficacy. ⺠Vaccinated chickens produced less acute phase mediators than unvaccinated chickens. ⺠Acute phase mediator production may help define LPAI vaccine efficacy in chickens.
