Abstract
⺠We describe wide array of genes involved in immune response of carp against CyHV-3. ⺠CyHV-3 infection induces activation of type I IFNs-dependent pathways. ⺠Higher activation of cytotoxic T cells was observed in more resistant carp line. ⺠The outcome of CyHV-3 disease could be controlled by genetic factors of the host.
