Abstract
⺠We found a novel Toll homologue in green mud crab Scylla paramamosain (SpToll). ⺠It displayed a characteristic structure of the Toll/TLR family. ⺠The SpToll transcription could be up-regulated significantly after pathogenic infection. ⺠A SNP mutation in SpToll might be associated with enhanced resistance of crab to pathogens.
