Abstract
This paper is devoted to the comparison between two aerothermodynamics tools, used to predict the survivability of space debris during the re-entries and assess the prospective risk on ground: SCARAB & PAMPERO. Two test-cases have been identified for a first batch of comparisons on different shapes, in order to cover all flow regimes during a debris re-entry.
