Abstract
⺠We explore the factors influencing perceptions of journal quality in two disciplines. ⺠Perceived quality is significantly positively correlated with impact factors. ⺠Perceived quality is not significantly correlated with technical delay. ⺠Perceived quality is not significantly correlated with immediacy index. ⺠Slightly different results are also found between the two fields.
