Abstract
Pseudorotaxane with multi-modes supramolecular assembly based on the host-guest interaction of CB[8] and monomer containing azobenzene and coumarin was designed. The assembly modes could be controlled by light through the isomerization of azobenzene. Furthermore, the multi-modes assembly also could be arranged by the introduction of α-cyclodextrin through the self-sorting function. The photoisomerization behavior and the corresponding photoisomerization rate constant before and after assembly was investigated through UV-Vis absorption spectra. This supramolecular assembly could also be regarded as a molecular loop-lock due to the controllable conversion by α-CD and light.119
